Name: Silent Homicide
Rank: A
Element: None
Description: As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method
of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally,
because the user is very silent, it cannot be defended against. The
user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that
might give them away. Zabuza was a master of this technique, and was
even good enough to track and kill opponents through sound alone.
The
Hidden Mist Technique was used by Zabuza in conjunction with this technique.

Name: Shadow Clone Technique (影分身の術,
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu; Viz "Art of the Shadow Doppleganger", English TV
"Shadow Clone Jutsu", UK DVD "Art of Shadow Body Splitting")
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Element: None
Description:
Similar to the Clone Technique, this jutsu creates clones of the user.
Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not
illusions. The user's chakra
is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal
fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of
performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually
disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their
own. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the
original.
Name: Poison Mist Clone
Rank: B
Element: None
Description:
This technique is used as a combination of the Shadow Clone Technique
and the Poison Mist Technique. This technique will summon a clone that
looks and acts like an ordinary shadow clone but whenever it's
destroyed, it explodes into a large mist of purple, poisonous gas.
Name: Body Flicker
Rank: D
Element: -
Description: This jutsu
is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to
long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it
appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally
used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using
chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The
amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation
between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha was
feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" (瞬身のシスイ, Shunshin no Shisui),
likely referring to this technique.
The Body Flicker Technique
has various variations among the different hidden villages, all of
which involve some extra element aside from the movement itself. The
extra element is usually some sort of substance used to distract the
opponent, such as leaves or sand. Gaara, for instance, uses the Sand
Body Flicker, which uses sand to cover his movements. Other varieties
include the Mist Body Flicker, Water Body Flicker, and Leaf Body
Flicker.
Name: Substitution
Rank: E
Element: None
Description:
This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby
object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or
even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a
counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for
an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
The
anime has a number of other objects being used for this jutsu, such as
a boulder, mud, a scarecrow, and even a large rolled-up carpet. These
items are usually nowhere in sight, suggesting that they are merely
gags meant to lighten up the situation and not an actual part of the
jutsu. Additionally, the normal practice of switching places with a
section of log is done in several places that have no such thing
anywhere nearby.
This technique is sometimes referred to as the Art of Projection in other manga and anime series.

Name: Tree Climbing
Rank: -
Element: None
Description:
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose.
Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja
learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run
up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn
how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of
their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise.
The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra
focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any
jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus
their chakra as needed.
