General InformationName: Tayuya
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Clan: Unknown
Village: Otogakure no Sato
Rank: Sound Four / Chuunin
Elements: Oton, Fuuton
Looks:Tayuya is a very passionate person when it comes to what she shows in her face. She always expresses her emotions through her brown eyes. She has a sort of burnt-red colour for hair. Her hair usually stretches just past her shoulders, not being very long nor very short. She wears a sort of black headgear with white bandages around the top of her head. Her face isn't soft like most girls, giving a proud impression that normally a guy would give. Being from Otogakure no Sato, she wear the traditional off-white dress that stretches down to just above her knees. The flap at the bottom of her Oto wear has an unfilled Yin-Yang symbol on it that is pure white. Around the waist of the Oto wear is the traditional, large, purple rope "belt" that wraps around and forms a large loop knot in the back. Underneath, she wears black clothing: just simple black shirt and shorts to cover the basics. She wears black arms socks around her wrists that tightly hug her skin, just as her shirt and shorts do. She has white bandaging around her legs that cover most of her shins. Black ninja sandals wrap around her feet and up to just above her ankles. With this sort of standard and unflashy dress, she commonly blends in... which is counteracted by her explosive personality.
Tayuya has a curse seal. It is located on the back of her neck. When this curse seal is activated, thin, straight, black lines appear all over her body. They appear in a fiery red, and it appears as though the lines are scorched onto her skin, though they are not. After activating the second Curse Seal stage, her skin turns a deep brown. Five, thick, jagged, white horns come out of her head. Her eyes become black with piercing yellow irises. Small black marks appear below her eyes. Her body gains an immense strength visible almost throughout her entire body.
{329}Personality:Tayuya is a VERY foul-mouthed kunoichi. She constantly berates whatever she thinks is wrong or just plain annoying. She constantly attacks the small things and doesn't exactly look at the big picture so much as the details. She does look out for the outcome, but she rarely passes up important details. She is very open with her thoughts and not afraid to speak out. However, she does have a side in which she is sweet and caring, but it is doused with sarcasm and rude remarks. Not only is it limited, but her sweeter side also is very rare. She is a very rational thinker and does not care if one is sacrificed for the whole. Though brutal in that respect, it is very practical and rational in her mind, and she expects all others to believe that. She never enjoys losing and would do anything to win at anything. She has intelligence in the form of real-time tactics, allowing her to formulate quick plans during the heat of combat. Thanks to the intelligence to match her Genjtutsu skills, she can easily reach her personal goal of always winning.

Tayuya was born in a fairly lower-class family on the outskirts of the Rice Country. She was very unimpressive when she was young, very weak of body and mind. She was the source of attacks made by others in the small country-side of the labourious rice fields. She grew up learning to hate others just to hate them, nitpicking and attacking every little detail... every little mistake made by anyone. She created a disturbance in her late youth and was eventually taken by Otogakure no Sato. Orochimaru personally took her in, realizing her potential. At first, he was really thinking about making her one of his bodies. She had great potential... but Orochimaru had way overestimated her ability, expecting so much more than she could give. She became skilled in Oton Jutsus, mostly Genjutsu. After seeing a year of her skills, Orochimaru applied a curse seal to the back of her neck. He was definitely still interested in what she could do, even though he was not around so much.
Tayuya's skill was proven quickly through her Genjutsu, her control of the Doki Spirits through the use of her flute. At first, she could only control one. She learned how to control it during her time as an honourary Otogakure Gennin. She practiced and trained for months on end, and she eventually came across the ability of summoning a second and even third Doki. With much practice and value placed on her by Orochimaru, she was made an official Gennin of Otogakure no Sato, and she was gaining ground in ability and strength as a kunoichi. But, the favour placed upon her dwindled with two other people. Orochimaru had apparently taken a liking to Kaguuya Kimimaro, one who could manipulate his skeletal system. Not long after, Orochimaru's interest in Kimimaro faded, too, and Orochimaru began to focus on Uchiha again, supposedly having done so in the past. Tayuya had faded in Otogakure no Sato... but not for long. Along with three others - Kidoumaru, Jiroubou, and Sakon and Ukon - the Sound Four was created.
Tayuya was made the North Gate of the Sound, compared to the other compass points of the others. Orochimaru praised her skills, saying that she was the "only one without a trait that would slow the team down". The Sound Four became infamous amongst rivals of Otogakure no Sato, proving that they were a threat with many missions ending in success and domination of their opponents. During her time as a kunoichi and Sound Four member, she completed many missions**: 20 D-Ranked Missions, 15 C-Ranked Missions, 8 B-Ranked Missions, 2 A-Ranked Missions, and 1 S-Ranked Mission. Orochimaru then found a boy in which he became obsessed with. A young boy by the name of Uchiha Sasuke was given a curse seal by Orochimaru, which immediately told the members of the Sound Four that he was serious. Tayuya didn't see much in the Uchiha, and she constantly talked badly about Orochimaru's decisions behind his back. Orochimaru was told by Jiroubou about Tayuya's words, and Tayuya was not granted a possible rank-up that she would have gotten without her slander of his decisions.

The Sound Four was dispatched soon after to get Uchiha Sasuke. Tayuya continued her slander against the young boy, and meeting him only "confirmed" her earlier comments. The Sound Four kept an eye on Sasuke and waited until dark, Tayuya constantly commenting on his obvious lack of presence. She commented all day until night came. They were about to get to Sasuke when Hatake Kakashi arrived. Kakashi's presence kept Kidourmaru's enthusiasm at bay, which pissed off Tayuya. She stated that she could do it. Coincidently, Kakashi left after their little arguement, ending with Tayuya calling Jiroubou a "stinking fatass". They then came upon Sasuke. Sasuke attempted to fight them, but it was all but hopeless. Tayuya stood back and watched in disgust. She still couldn't understand why Orochimaru was obsessed with a weak little kid like this Uchiha brat. Sakon and Ukon easily caught Sasuke, and Tayuya looked upon him once more in disgust, telling Sasuke that Orochimaru could give him great strength, but she didn't believe her own words; it was merely her mission to do so. She then commented about being Orochimaru's slave, that they all sacrificed their freedoms to gain "unbelieveable power". She then said that being in Konohagakure no Sato will only hinder him, only giving him another shoulder to cry upon when he is defeated, no power gained. A day passed. Uchiha Sasuke met up with them the following night. With an arrogant smirk, Tayuya left Konohagakure no Sato with the other Sound Four members... escorting Uchiha Sasuke to Otogakure no Sato.
The Sound Four was escorting Uchiha Sasuke to Otogakure no Sato. Sasuke was very willing to do so, and it almost made Tayuya laugh on the inside, how dependent the weakling was on Orochimaru for power. This was when Sakon mentioned forcing Sasuke's seal into level two. Tayuya grinned devilishly. The Uchiha brat would have to depend on them, too, for power. With a quick ceremony, Sasuke was sealed into a container, where he would be taken by the curse seal and put into a comma. Tayuya laughed after it was done. It was so funny to her. Later on, two Konoha Jounin appeared. Tayuya and Sakon took on Shiranui Genma and defeated him with curse seal level two while Namaishi Raido is defeated by Jiroubou and Kidoumaru; Tayuya said to Genma, "
Die, lovely young lady," as she fought. Due to activating their curse seal level two, the team had to rest. Kidoumaru set traps for an pursuers. Tayuya was very arrogant of the matter, not knowing much about who could be coming, and she stated that no one that followed them could beat them, but they were too weak to fight. When Nara Shikamaru's team arrived, Tayuya was almost overjoyed with bliss. They seemed so weak, and Shikamaru seemed like an idiot. It was then that Shikamaru trapped them with his Kage Mane no Jutsu [
Shadow Possession Jutsu]. Tayuya kept this in mind as Ukon released a trap and allowed them to move on. Jiroubou captured the hapless Gennins and allowed the rest of the Sound Four to move on with Sasuke. With a yell, she told Jiroubou not to mess around and to come back quickly, adding "fatass" at the end.
However, Shikamaru's team reappeared later with Shikamaru's Henge of Jiroubou. Tayuya called "Jiroubou" a fatass, yet "Jiroubou" merely complied, whereas he would've normally corrected her on her language. With this note, Kidoumaru gave Tayuya the coffin and let them go ahead. Tayuya wondered what was going on with Jiroubou, also wondering why they had left the weakest of the four to handle them. "
Damn, what the hell is that fatty doing...? That shit-head!" Time passed as Sakon and Tayuya moved ahead. It was getting on Tayuya's nerves that the others had not come back already. "
Nevermind the fat-ass Jiroubou, but what the hell is Kidourmaru doing? ...That piece of shit..." More time passed as Sakon and Tayuya moved on towards Otogakure no Sato. They began to note their time, that it was taking too long to get back. Tayuya was especially worried, broken by the fact that they had "
only accomplished one-third of the plan in half a day". It was becoming a great pain to have them come so far and get nowhere. It was soon again that Shikamaru's team had caught up once again, then only having three members and a mutt. Tayuya was miffed at the whole scenario, scowling as the three charged head-on. Two of them were Kage Bunshin [
Shadow Clone], though, and Sakon easily disposed of them, approaching the most annoying of the three. There was some sort of Chakra forming in his hand, but Sakon managed to stop it; Tayuya just stared in disbelief as that one was also a Kage Bunshin, the Inuzuka charging through it with Tsuuga [
Fang over Fang]. Sakon dodged, and the Inuzuka came at her. She went to grab the coffin when she stopped cold. That arrogant Nara had captured her in his Kage Mane no Jutsu, freezing her as the Inuzuka grabbed the coffin. Tayuya was then forced into Sakon's way, him plowing into her as the team of "f*ckers" ran off.
Tayuya sat on the tree-limb, still in disbelief. They were getting away. She saw Sakon bolt after them, activating his curse seal. Tayuya knew that Sakon never liked losing, and she followed at a slower rate, conserving her energy. Then Sakon was trapped in an explosion with the Inuzuka and that mutt. They went flying into a revene. "
Son of a..." She couldn't believe that the Sound Four was actually losing to a bunch of shit-heads. She was ready to strike when she saw a shadow. She stopped cold, her eyes growing wide with astonishment. Kimimaro had appeared. He easily took the coffin from the shit-heads as she stood there, silent. Kimimaro made reference that she was once part of the "five". She grimaced.
There's only four, Kimimaro.... Throughts continued to swarm Tayuya, and she eventually spoke in the silent monologue that Kimimaro was not speaking. "
Why... why are you...? Your body... your body is no longer...?!" She couldn't believe it. Kimimaro had one foot in the grave, and he was here, still fighting for Orochimaru. Kimimaro then criticized her for her tardiness. "
But... you were too late." She immediately knew. Orochimaru had chosen another container for his soul. She wondered how he could do such a thing... going on with another container when they were so close....
The annoying one charged. Tayuya used Shushin no Jutsu [
Body Flicker Technique] to get in front of him and gave him a face-full of fist that sent the brat flying back. Kimimaro then landed behind her and told her something she would not forget.... "
The reason I've yet to kill you is... you still have a mission to accomplish by staying alive."
How... how can he say such a thing...? Kimimaro... Kimimaro left with the coffin, and Tayuya was left to deal with the two brats. "
Shit..." She took out her flute and looked at them. They were formulating a plan of some sort. "
Shit! I'll clean you up in seconds! Come on, trash!" The lazy leader had them charge directly at her. She smiled as the leader struck at her with his kunai. The annoying one then charged... and sailed right over her.... "
Shit! You tricked me! What kind of teamwork is that, you damn bastards...." A shadow was growing on the branch. She jumped away, knowing of the shadow-user's tricks. She grinned. "
Is that boy Sasuke that important to you? Wasting a team for just one guy... haha... you stupid homos!" The lazy leader then began talking sense... about how it's practical to save a team instead of a single person. Tayuya saw his logic, how he then explained that no one on his team would safe his own life in exchange for Sasuke. Tayuya then redied herself as Shikamaru prepared for battle by forming the Rat hand sign. She used Kuchiyose no Jutsu [
Summoning Technique] to summon her Doki... all three. She could see the dismay in Shikamaru's face. "
I'll play a melody of death for you.... It is you who shouldn't underestimated us, trash!" She activated her curse seal, giving her ease to control her Doki. Black lines that look like straight branches began to come from her curse seal, and she began to play her flute.
Tayuya's Doki charged Nara Shikamaru, the lazy shit-head. They continued to charge him without relent as she played her flute. The music commaned the Doki and continued to keep them on his trail. Without much time passing, the brat managed to figure out a lot of the music. He figure out that there was a direct correlation between the notes and the Doki's movements. She grinned and began the ninth verse of her song,
Turmoil of the Pandemonium. The Doki took off again and lunged at Shikamaru, but they did not attack. Instead, spiritual snakes came out of their mouths and came at him. Shikamaru dodged upward, going airbourne. Tayuya grinned. The spiritual snakes came at him and ate away at his Chakra, a bit from his arm. She realized that he had found out so quickly what they were and what they did. But, that was only have the battle. She was certain that he couldn't figure out how to combat this. Though she didn't know it, Shikamaru thought about how good she would be at Shougi.
Tayuya was confident in her power. She was certain that nothing could conter her movements. Shikamaru then began attacking blindly, using tactis that were only frontal at first, but they became more complicated, each move set off by traps. She thought about how it was clever... but futile. She was still confident in her skill. He launched several kunai knives from traps to erode his position. But, she used her Doki to protect her from such attacks. He then jumped into the open. "
You know what's most fun about Shougi?" She turned to him and had her Doki lurge at him. He was wide open... so vulnerable. "
It's the part where you can use the opponent's pieces you captured as your own." He got into a position, forming the rat seal. This made her wonder about his strategy for a second before her suspicions were answered. A flashbang then lowered in front of her. She perked up; a fear set in her mind. He used the flashbang to extend their shadows... allowing him to capture them. "
That's impossible!" She was dumbfounded by his analytic skills. She attempted to have them break out of his Kage Mane no Jutsu, but they would not move. But, she merely smirked as he talked about using them against her. "
Not alarmed, are we? Why don't you at least ready your kunai knives or something...." At this, she laughed hardily. She spun her flute and pointed at him. "
My flute is my only weapon! Don't make me say this again: There's not a single soul who has lived to speak of the melody of my flute!" Shikamaru then had her Doki charge against her. It was so simple, though.... "
Tai!" [
Retreat] The Doki disappeared. Shikamaru did a facepalm and sighed. Tayuya merely laughed at his failure. "
Too bad you couldn't use your pawns! Now, it really is my turn!" She then pulled her flute to her mouth....
...But, her arm wouldn't move. She was stuck, frozen. She couldn't believe how he could've gotten her, but he did. Though they were on separate branches, he managed to find a path his shadow could travel to trap her. "
Didn't I tell you before? ... The initial strike was a diversion. It's the simplest of all basics to land with the second move." This only made Tayuya angry, and she couldn't bring herself truly to believe it. However, she forced out her level two curse seal.
What a piss-off... but I'll have to admit that this shit-head really is something. Her stage two seal activated, she was graced with a great power. She managed to break free of his Kage Mane, and she even seemed unaffected by his Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu [
Shadow Neck Choke Technique]. She then began to play another song, something he would be done in by. She used [
Demonic Illusion: Illusion Harmony]. Shikamaru was frozen, and his arms were locked in place to his sides. He was trapped by the strings of her Genjutsu. She laughed as she heard him scream; it seemed as if the flesh on his arm was literally falling off like liquid. She could use tens of different genjutsus while at Stage Two, but she chose this one because it seemed "most appropriate" for this shithead. She took the kunai he had missed with earlier and jumped over next to him. There, she swung at him with the kunai knife, aiming to kill with this final strike....
Tayuya stopped. Shikamaru landed a heavy punch to her gut and wrapped her with his Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu. She looked at his free hand. He had used his shadow to break his finger, enough pain to knock him out of the Genjutsu. "
How many times do I have to tell you... the first hand is a feint. It's the most basic thing to land with the second hand." She was trapped by his shadows, stretching up her body to her neck. "
I got too close... dammit...." He had the match in the palm of his hand. "
Hmmph... I must admit: you've got some guts for a shithead." Shikamaru attempted to hold her, but she was able to slowly drain his chakra by exerting an insane amount of chakra of her own... of her Stage Two. Slowly, but surely, Shikamaru's chakra dwindled.
Tayuya was gaining the upper hand. Her chakra was not dwindling at such a rate as Shikamaru's due to her curse seal.
Hah... this shit-head is running out of time.... He's at his limits.... She attempted to move again. It became easier and easier to move as the minutes passed. She continued to regain control. After more minutes of struggling, the Kage Kubi Shibari faded, and she could feel her right hand loosening. She cocked her arm back a little bit, and she could feel her strength building, her arm gaining momentum as she swung the kunai at him. She waited for the sound... the wonderful sound of blood splatter that would note his end. But, it never came. Instead, she heard a loud sound like crackling wind. She felt a surge, a great push as she was sent flying back by a gusting wind. When she finally realized reality after the shock of the blow, she could see another person, someone with a giant fan standing next to the crippled Shikamaru on his knees. She found a spot and stood on a branch, watching the two carry on about Konoha and Suna'a war.... It sickened her. "
So, you're with Konoha now.... Indecisive, aren't we?" She began to play some notes on her flute....
However, her jutsu was cut short. That damned Suna kunoichi used some sort of Fuuton jutsu, Dai Kamaitachi no Jutsu. Tayuya got behind some trees, hoping to evade the attack. She looked around, though, and she saw that the trees were levelled. All of the trees' tops were gone, only stumps remaining. She planned to wait until they came close, able to locate them easily and launch her Genjutsu. It was then that she heard a crackling sound behind her. She heard a voice, then the crashing of trees. She began to play some notes....

Tayuya was suddenly awoken. She was breathing heavily as if the wind had gotten knocked out of her. She looked around. She was in a small shack overseeing a rice field. With a grunt, she sat up, studying her surroundings. A pain shot through her chest, and she coughed, rolling off the table she was on onto the floor.
Dammit... it hurts.... Why does it hurt, and why am I here? I only remember hearing them approach, and then I awoke here.... ... ...Oh... I get it. So, that Suna Kunoichi used a Kuchiyose to summon something, the thing that defeated me. But, how did I end up here? I just wonder how I was brought here. Did that Shikamaru shit-head do this out of sympathy, or was it something else, an Oto Shinobi...? She heard a cracking of a door. She looked back and saw someone come in. She instinctively twirled to face and ready herself to face the opponent, but her chest hurt, and she fell again to the ground. Looking up, she saw a person with an Oto headband walk in, and she smiled. "
Well... a comrade... was it you who saved me? What happened to the other two?" The Oto Shinobi merely shook his head and sighed.
Tayuya looked upon the man, and she couldn't help but tilt her head. The man didn't seem like a fighter. "
No, it was not I who saved you, unless you passed out in my fields. I thought that a battle might've occured, but I saw a shinobi running into the forest with a kunoichi who had a massive fan. I had earlier heard of a large crashing sound, and I wondered who or what it was. I assume that you were fighting Konoha Ninja.... The boy had a green vest on. I can only wonder why someone would be so concerned with one's opponent.... It truly is bizarre. We are enemies, yet they saved you. Perhaps, you owe that person a single debt, something you could pay him back later." Tayuya then was taken by a great thought.
Well... at least it's consistant with what he was talking about.... Maybe that shit-head isn't so bad after all.... It's a shame we're on opposite sides of this conflict.... He seemed a little... Her thoughts cut off. She stopped thinking about such nonsesnse and began to think about more important matters. She needed to get back to Orochimaru. She was still injured, though, and she coughed a small bit of blood when she tried to get upright. She thought of herself as weak, and a solemn expression came onto her face. She looked at the floor below her, and she began to question her very existance, her power and will to serve Orochimaru. With this new revelation, she laid herself back down, and she rested.
For the next week, Tayuya recovered from that battle. She helped the person with his everyday chores, building herself back to normal condition without losing any strength. During this time, she thought about the Sound 'Five', Orochimaru, Otogakure no Sato, and even the battle with Shikamaru. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was on the wrong side, the side of that which did wrong. However, she had chosen that side. She had sealed her fate with the Curse Seal, something that could never be undone....
Wait... why the hell am I thinking these things?! She stopped helping the man after she was done with her recovering. She did thank the man for his cooperation. It was so hard not to insult the man, but she at least showed him the respect he deserved for helping her. After she left, though, she cursed everything. She cursed everything under the sun, even going so far as to curse the man who kept her within his dwelling. She didn't care. She had hated the past few weeks. It all seemed like a nightmarish hell.... It seemed as though she could never be what she wanted to be, a faithful servant of Orochimaru. But, what that what she truly wanted?
Tayuya came back to Orochimaru after a week and a half's passing. Upon her return, she was met by Orochimaru's dissatisfaction. She couldn't stand to look at him. She had failed him. But, a look of realization appeared on her face.
Wait... Kimimaro! He could've completed the mission! She then looked at Orochimaru. He was bandaged, and he didn't match the size of the boy he had wanted. At that point, she realized that she had failed. However, Orochimaru was not dismissive of her actions. Orochimaru was merely joined by Kabuto, who led her out of the room. She looked back to see Orochimaru nodding at her as she left. Was her work truly acknowledged...?
Tayuya spent the next few years in harsh training, trying to perfect her flute, what had not been accessed before being accessed over this period of time. She focused on her Genjutsu, her ability to control the minds of others using the sound of her flute. She came across many new jutsus, and she even found out about newer Oton Ninjutsu that she came to love. With her new arsenal, she was able to serve Orochimaru once more.... However, as what happened before, favour in her was lost, and she was replaced in the Sound Five. She did not quit, though. She pushed herself to the limits of her Chuunin-ranked body, trying to do her best without the Curse Seal. She wanted to be recognized again. She wanted to be noticed by Orochimaru again. She wanted to be a member of the Sound Five again. She wanted it so badly.... Now, she is an experienced Chuunin. She's loyal to Otogakure no Sato and even more so to Orochimaru.
{964}{4,425}Role Playing Sample Life is what one makes it. One person cannot tell another what his or her purpose in life is. That is left soley to the one who is living the life. If one cannot make a purpose for him/herself, then that person keeps searching until death.
Tayuya looked upon the field before her. Her enemy was in front of her, readying himself with some sort of sword. She grinned, pulling out her flute to her mouth. The man seemed confused by the action, but he shook his head, shaking off the fears, and charged. With a simple whisper, probably some sort of profane curse, she began to create music, flowing from her flute. Notes flowed with the breeze, an eerie tune stretching across the expanse of the plain field. A small twinkle flickered in her eyes as they closed. She was playing the music beautifully, contrast to the song itself, each finger moving rhythmically with the song. The enemy suddenly stopped, and Tayuya could see his eyes widening. She knew that he was trapped in her song. She continued to play, small mumbles coming from the man's mouth. A small giggle came from her own mouth, not enough to disrupt her song, though. The gnetles breeze blew her pink hair, a small ripple appearing in her clothing. The man began to squirm, and he fell the ground, the grass swaying to brush his sides. His body lurged, his body flailing as though he were being tortured. Another giggle came from her mouth, still continuing her song. The man began to cry out. "
No, please, stop! Don't..." A sharp and critical scream then errupted from his throat. His body then lay still. Tayuya continued playing as she approached the man. Every step was beautiful, the crunching of the grass, seeming to have a soothing effect on her. When she got to the man, she noticed that he remained lying on the ground with a softening breathing. She softly kicked him, her song ever steady. He made no response other than a small skip of his breathing. [color=violet]Pathetic... She looked upon the man with great vim, wanting to kill the viciously. She wanted to screw the bastard to pieces very slowly, to torture him with great glee. She began to slow her song, but she kept it playing. She kneeled down, getting close to the man. It was a horrible way to die. However, it was her style. It was her passion to torture her victums with Genjutsu before killing them. She looked at the man's face, seeing his eyes filled with fear and pain.
Genjutsu is a wonderful thing.... She could see the torture in his eyes, and she could feel the great joy that she loved from seeing one in so much pain. Her song slowed even more, and she pulled out a small tag. She placed the tag on the man's head, smiling ever so gleely. She then stood, giving the man one last look before turning and walking away. Her song slowed, but she played it so he could hear every painful note. When she was a sufficient distance away, she ended her song. She then made a single hand sign....
"
Kai!"
The explosion was beautiful. The miniature fiery mushroom behind her left a burnt corpse behind, and Tayuya could not help but smile. She was tougher than most; she was able to tolerate much more than others. She twirled her flute and whistled as she walked away. She had learned from her battle with the Shadow-user that she could not rely on just one weapon. However, she would still primarily use just one weapon. Kunai knives, shuriken stars, deadly bombs - none matched what she could do with her flute. She knew that she was not immortal, but she was very powerful. Her music was her weapon, her flute her essence. If it was not for her flute, she would have been nothing. She continued walking away from the "battle" area... what fracas it actually was. She decided to sit underneath a tree and relax. She began to think about her curse mark. Was it truly a blessing from a god on earth...? "
Hell yeah, it is...." She laughed, knowing that she loved the power it provided, as she stared at the leaves of the tree. They swayed with a certain grace that made her want to cut the entire damned thing down. It was not its beauty that turned her off; it was its carefree essence that was undeserved. It had so little power. It had not worked for anything. It had merely survived the elements of nature. She thought of destroying it. She hated that carefree presence. It reminded her too much of that lazy Shadow-user. She screamed at it, throwing swear after swear at it. Her body trembled as she tried to satisfy her want to feel more powerful. But, it only made her want to cry. That damned tree would win in the end... just like that stupid Shadow-user.... In fact, a single tear ran down her cheek. It hurt. It really hurt to know that she was not only beaten by the Shadow-user and his friend, but she was also helped by them and delivered to safety. He had not truly beaten her, but he had survived her, just as the tree had survived the elements of nature. The elements of nature were insanely brtual and powerful; she was, too. However, the tree survived thanks to resiliance, luck, and delaying the almost inevitable; the Shadow-user did so, too. "
GOD DAMNIT!!! WHY DIDN'T HE F*CKING PERISH?!" She buried her face in her hands, feeling as though she were so weak. She was powerful, yet she could not defeat that which could be easily defeated. She was about to leave, but a squirrel came out of the trunk of the tree. It crawled down and got onto Tayuya's shoulder, examining her. She unburied her face and glared at it. She clenched a fist around her flute. With her other hand, she grabbed the squirrel and threw it. "
Damned beast of nothingness! Know your f*cking place!" She began playing her flute once more, a nasty scowl stretching from ear to ear.
"
Live in pain!"
