Stargazing

The cold air blew gently across his cheek, yet he did not flinch but seemed to smile. Drake reached into his pocket and drew a cigarette, his favorite brand. He then lifted it to his lips and held it in his mouth, but accidentally dropped his lighter onto the ground and let out a sigh.

Sakura sat on an empty hilltop, staring up at the sky with a calm expression. A soft sigh escapes her lips as the wind suddenly picks up. She frowned a bit when she smelled something in the air...something burning...like cigarettes.

Drake picked his lighter up and stowed it away in his pocket and took long drags from the cigarette. He flipped his hair out of his eyes as the wind persisted to blow it in his face. "The stars.." he whispered to himself as he say the stars the lit the night sky.

"Huh?" she quickly turned her head in the voice of the direction. She stared at the mysterious looking man whom she quickly took notice the smell was coming from him.

Drake didn't seem to notice as he just stood there and stared into the sky as if he were in deep thought.

'Looks like he's deep in thought...' she thinks. She slowly pushes herself up off the ground and decides to talk to him. "Something weighing on your mind I take it..." she whispered.

"Yes...but nothing you would under stand." He answered as he took another drag, kept his eyes fixed on stars.

"Hm...humor me." she replied with a calm expression, looking at him.

"I wish I could, but my past is dark, "He glanced at her "...maybe a bit too dark" He flicked the cigarette and sighed once more.

She stayed silent, staring up at the sky for a moment before she looked back at him. "Well...I won't force you to say anything." she whispered.

"Thank you, that is very mature for someone you age" He answered and sat down on the grass.

She smiled weakly. "Forgive me for asking but I was wondering what brings you out here? Was it just had to clear your mind...or meeting somebody?" she asks curiously.

"Both...in a way." He replied and brought his palm to his face, staring at it for a few seconds.

"I see, I just figured I'd watch the stars for a while..." she said with a meek shrug.

He nodded and grabbed a kunai knife. "Ninja?" He asked her

She looked at the kunai before she looked at him and nodded. "A kunoichi..." she stated with a small smile.

"It's been a while since I've seen a kunoichi...thought the villages stop that," He put the kunai away, "Who is your sensei?" He pried

"I'm actually a chunin, but my sensei is Kakashi Hatake..." she said wit ha faint smile.

"Hmm the man with the Sharingan?" He mused "Is he actually teaching you?"

"Well, I can't really say that, when I first started out yes he was. But most of the things I'm learning now are from Lady Tsunade herself." she stated proudly with a small chuckle.

He sits there quite as the name Tsunade, one of the ninja world Kages, escaped her lips. "So you are a Medical Ninja?" he asked after a moment of silence.

She nodded with a small smile. "Yep..." she chirped happily.

Drake stood in a quick movement and began to walk away from her, slowly covering his mouth and nose with his hand.

She stared at him completely baffled when he suddenly began to walk away from her. "H-Hey, where are you going?" she suddenly shouted.

"Its... complicated" He stopped a few feet from where he sat. "Your scent...burns my nose" he added
